UEFA Champions League Finals Result May 19, 2012\
The final between Bayern Munich and Chelsea for the UEFA Champions League final went underway earlier today. Really boring and bad game until the 80th minute or so. Then things started heating up with a goal by Bayern Munich that looked to be the winner. But Chelsea rebounded with a great goal. Robben’s penalty miss cost his team the trophy and about +$120 mil in winnings. Nothing happened in extra time. It came down to penalties. Both Mata and Lahm’s shots were saved. Then Schweinstagger missed for Bayern. Drogba scored the winner with great composure. I can’t believe Chelsea won 2 major trophies this season with their roster. Better them than Bayern thought I guess. Below are the highlights from the final.
